About
Hi, I'm Julia, the founder of Sway natural
I created Sway natural to help women who, like me, wanted to sway the gender of their future children in a natural and safe way.
My Sway natural journey began almost a decade ago when I became a parent for the first time. After my son was born, my husband and I started thinking about our next child, and I couldn't help but wish for a little girl to ‘gender balance’ our family.

As an academic at heart, I have spent a considerable amount of my life in academia, obtaining a PhD in Business and Social Science from LMU Munich, a leading university in Germany, and certificates from top business schools, including Harvard Business School and INSEAD. To stay at the forefront of dietary research, I am an active participant of the Stanford Nutrition Science faculty.
Leveraging my strong academic background, qualifications, and passion for science, I dedicated almost two years to researching gender swaying.
During this time, I sourced resources and books from around the world in different languages, built a library on the topic, and read hundreds of studies. This comprehensive investigation allowed me to acquire a deep understanding of the subject matter.
Through my research I discovered the sheer amount of misinformation and detrimental practices surrounding gender swaying. While I was shocked to find out about the crazy, harmful things people do to influence the gender of their next child, I was also captivated by the science that indicates that it is indeed possible to increase your chances of conceiving a certain gender, mostly through changing the mother's diet before conception.

I followed the ‘girl diet’ and after I successfully swayed for my baby girl, I wrote a website to share my knowledge with others. Then I was just going to move on with my life. But many people kept on reaching out to me to ask about natural gender swaying and I realised that this is a real pain point for so many women that I now want to address properly.

At Sway Natural, our aim is to combat the misinformation surrounding gender swaying and provide a trusted, professional digital space where women can find science-backed, factual, and responsible information on gender swaying, including personalised advice. We want to make swaying simple and prepare women for healthy pregnancies by improving their eating habits during a time in their life when a healthy diet matters most.

I now live with my family in Sydney, Australia, and am excited to bring Sway natural to life. To stay up-to-date with the latest scientific studies and debates on gender swaying and the impact of diet, I am an active participant of the Nutrition Science program at the Stanford Center for Health Education, a part of Stanford Medicine. This opportunity allows me to engage with top experts in the field, deepening my knowledge and staying at the forefront of research in this fascinating area.
I aim to make a positive impact on the lives of many families and share my knowledge and resources with women around the world.
