Welcome to the Sway Factor Tool

 

This tool simplifies gender swaying through diet by focusing on the balance of key minerals in foods—not just their quantities. The Sway Factor helps you achieve the right mineral balance to sway pink or blue.

 

How It Works

The Sway Factor assigns each food a score based on the balance between two sets of minerals:

  • Higher scores: Favor a girl sway with a better ratio of calcium and magnesium relative to potassium and sodium.

  • Lower scores: Favor a boy sway with a stronger ratio of potassium and sodium compared to calcium and magnesium.

Color-Coded Hearts for Quick Reference

Each food also has a color-coded heart to show its swaying effect:

💖 Pink: Foods with a higher ratio of calcium and magnesium, supporting a girl sway.

💙 Blue: Foods with a higher ratio of sodium and potassium, supporting a boy sway.

💚 Green: Foods with minimal sway mineral content, safe for both diets. This can include foods with clear pink or blue scores but with such low mineral content that they won’t significantly impact swaying.

🖤 Black: Mixed mineral content. These foods need careful balancing to avoid compromising the sway effect.

Dominant Mineral and Smart Planning

The Dominant Mineral feature identifies the most influential mineral in each food, helping you maintain a balanced diet.

Ensure all key minerals are balanced and within healthy limits to support overall health. This is crucial, particularly for sodium. Our Food Guide, Meal Plans & Recipes simplify this process, as balancing minerals can be tricky.

General Dietary Reference (WHO Recommendations):

The WHO recommendations provide standard intake values for a balanced, non-swaying diet:

  • Magnesium: 310–320 mg for women

  • Calcium: ~1,000 mg

  • Potassium: 2,500–3,500 mg

  • Sodium: <2,000 mg 

Dr. Wilfried Feichtinger’s Recommendations
Dr. Wilfried Feichtinger, an Austrian gynecologist known for his expertise in diet-based gender swaying, suggests:

 

For Girl Sway:

  • Magnesium: 450 mg

  • Calcium: 1,500 mg

  • Potassium: 2,800 mg

  • Sodium: 650 mg

 

For Boy Sway:

  • Magnesium: 320 mg

  • Calcium: 800 mg

  • Potassium: 4,700 mg

  • Sodium: 3,900 mg
